Gothic Inspiration


I'm completely in love with this photo collection by Irina Ionesco, I think they're genius! All the details of the images are so stunning. I don't have any information about these photos, I wish I did. They have a very strong vintage feel to them but it's so hard to tell if they were just made to look that way or if they're really just old! I don't think my eyes will ever tire of seeing these. They remind me so much of Dutch Vanetas paintings with their dark, morbid qualities. Find these and the rest here.

    I agree, they are simply striking.
    Also agree about the Dutch resemblances, especially in the subject of death... it's almost rembrandtian !
